Title:  Technician, Research Lab. III

Salary Range:  $18,700 - 23,300

Duties:  Under limited supervision, perform DNA cloning and DNA sequence
analysis of muscle genes; transgenic and molecular analyses of muscle gene
expression in Drosophila; genetic analysis of Drosophila muscle mutants. 
Maintain Drosophila stocks.  Keep logs.  Write lab reports.  Maintain and
order supplies.

Qualifications:  BA/BS in biology or related field.  Coursework and/or
experience in molecular biology and genetics required.  Experience working
with Drosophila required.
