Sectioning

Does anyone have a protocol for embedding, sectioning, and fixing 
flies for in situ hybridization that does not involve using a 
cryostat?  I want to use DIG-labeled cDNA probes to study RNA 
expression in postembryonic stages, but I don't have access to a 
working cryostat.  I have heard rumors of other sectioning methods, 
but I would like a detailed protocol.
