Subject:		3 year postdoctoral position (C1) in genetics


A postdoctoral position (C1) is available to study the genetic basis of the 
neuronal control of ring gland function in Drosophila. Current research deals 
with (1) the morphological analysis of brain/ring gland connections, and (2) 
identification and characterization of genes in brain cells involved in the 
regulation of the ring gland function and their target genes. The 3 year 
position can be prolonged by additional 3 years. Successful candidates will 
be expected to contribute to the department¹s teaching, therefore, mastery of 
German is desired. Applications received by November 1, 1996, will be assured
