plasmid rescue of PlacW

Hi!
   I will soon be attempting to perform plasmid rescue of genomic fragments
flanking a PlacW insert. I will basically be following the Pirotta
protocol.  Does anyone have any experience with this or related methods? 
If so could you provide any suggestions? Feel free to email me directly if
