Anyone have experience culturing D. Hydiae (sp?)

Greetings all,

A friend of mine is attempting to culture D. hydiae (may have the spelling
wrong there).  This species has an incubation period of 9 days, which is
enough time to let three generations of mites infest the colony.  

Can anyone recommend various miticides to try?
