What are "naked cuticle" and "denticle"?

I'm unfamilar with Drosophila genetics and I can't understand the technical
term "naked cuticle" and "denticle". Are they phenotype or substantial
name? Is there good reference to know them? Please let me know.

And please recommend a current textbook about Drosophila genetics.
