Hi:
  I am a student at Enloe High School in Raleigh, NC.  I am doing a
project trying to isolate the seven pteridines in wild type drosophila
and compare them to mutant types.  I am having trouble isolating all
seven pigments in wild type eyes.  I am using Whatman #1 filter paper,
and a solvent consisting of a 1:1 ratio of 28% Ammonium Hydroxide and
n-Propyl Alchohol.  If you have any suggestions, i would appreciate any
comments.
