Kuzbanian is a ADAM protein (or MDC protein) : it is the ADAM-10.
ADAM protein are -A- -D-isintegrin -A-nd -M-ettaloprotease.

ADAM-10 degrade basic myelin and have 2 forms, nativ form and a form
without prodomain (this form is a activ metalloprotease).
In vitro, the knock-out of ADAM-10 conduct all of cells in neural way :
ADAM-10 active Notch protein wich permit fixation of Delta protein ->
lateral inhibition.
