The Department of Molecular Genetics in the UIC College of Medicine invites
applications for a Research Specialist position starting as early as
10-2-97.  Minimal qualifications are a bachelor's degree in biology or
related field and 1-2 yrs of lab research experience.  Desirable
qualifications are research experience in molecular biology and with
Drosophila melanogaster.  The successful candidate will participate in
research aimed at understanding control of cell division during
development, and will have administrative responsibilities, including
ordering supplies and equipment maintenance.  For fullest consideration,
