The following ad may be found in the January 23rd issue of Science.  

The Department of Zoology, University of Hawaii invites applications for
a tenure-track Assistant Professor position.  The successful candidate
is expected to develop an active research program in any area of
developmental biology.  Teaching responsibilities will include an
advanced undergraduate course in developmental biology and a graduate
course in his/her specialty.  Individuals whose research interfaces
developmental and evolutionary biology are encouraged to apply. 
Applicants must have a Ph.D., evidence of significant research
accomplishments, and a commitment to excellence in teaching. 
Post-doctoral experience is preferred.  Letters of application should be
accompanied by a curriculum vitae, statements of research and teaching
interests, and reprints of three publications.  Applicants should
