A PhD position is available to study 1) the function of
tenascin-related genes during neurogenesis of Drosophila and 2) to
analyze the structure and function of a F-spondin-like molecule during
embryonic development
Ideally, the candidate would have a background in Drosophila genetics
and/or molecular biology. We are a rapidly growing group of
developmental biologists, supplemented by the arrival of a zebrafish
group next year. The position is available immediately, but could be
kept open until fall if necessary.
