nuclear lacZ transformant vector

Hi,

I am working on a tissue specific enhancer element of a Drosophila gene. I
use lacZ as a reporter gene to show the expression pattern driven by that
enhancer. But it doesn't work so well since the gene I study is expressed
nuclearly and the lacZ I use is expressed cytoplasmly.

Many enhancer trap vectors do have the nuclearly localized lacZ based on
the fusion with transposase, but they can not be used directly as a
transformant vector. I know that there are vectors containing nuclear-lacZ
(lacZ with nuclear signal sequence) used in transgenic mouse. Is there
any such vector available for fly which can be used for transformant
directly?

If you know this kind of vector, please contact me.

Thank you very much!

Best wish,
Zhe
