TWO BIOLOGY FACULTY POSITIONS
UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND

The Department of Biology is searching for two geneticists 
studying cellular, developmental, population or 
evolutionary processes of any organism using empirical or 
theoretical approaches.  One appointment will be at the 
Assistant Professor level.  An extremely well-qualified 
applicant could be appointed at the tenured, senior level 
for the other position.  Exceptional opportunities exist 
for collaborations within the Department as well as with 
colleagues in other campus departments and nearby 
institutions such as the NIH and Smithsonian.  Applicants 
must have a Ph. D., postdoctoral experience, an active 
research program and be committed to teaching excellence.
