One postdoctoral position and one research technician position are
available immediately in my lab at NCI-Frederick.  My group is focusing
on two new signal transduction pathways, the
<italic>Drosophila</italic>  JAK/STAT and JNK/DJUN/DPP pathways that we

Meanwhile, in collaboration with other NCI molecular oncologists, we
are developing <italic>Drosophila</italic>  genetic models of several
oncogenes and tumor suppressors.=20

</fontfamily><fontfamily><param>Palatino</param> NCI-Frederick is a
stimulating and interactive environment with a growing
<italic>Drosophila </italic>group.  There will be 4
<italic>Drosophila</italic>  labs by the end of this year.  We have
bi-weekly joined lab meeting with 10 NCI-Frederick labs and also
participate in monthly Baltimore fly group
meeting.</fontfamily><fontfamily><param>Times</param>


</fontfamily><fontfamily><param>Palatino</param>The postdoctoral
Position requires a strong background in Molecular Biology.  Experience
in <italic>Drosophila </italic> genetics helpful but not necessary.=20
Salary will be $29,000 up plus benefits.   The technician position
requires a B.A. or M.S. degree.  The work will involve maintenance of
Drosophila stocks, genetic screens, some lab management
responsibilities, and advising students and post-Docs.  Salary will
base on previous
experience.</fontfamily><fontfamily><param>Times</param>
