In the past I've floated the idea of conference T-shirts to my regional
rep but got no response on the issue, so I figure the Conference board
isn't interested because of the hassle -- they've probably got quite
enough problems handling the rest of the meeting. I suspect that if you
contacted the artist and got permission, nobody would object to some crass
commercialism.
