Hello. My name is Peter and I am a student at Bates College in Maine. I
have a question for all you out there. I have crossed a wild type (red
eyes brown body//Oregon R strain) with a mutant type (white eyes yellow
body). I am wondering what the locus of the genes that would have
controlled that phenotypic expression. My data leads me to believe that
it is sex linked in that there was no recombinance or variation in the
females phenotype while the males were very different.

If anybody knows I would really love to get this nailed down.

you may e-mail me at pherrick at bates.edu

Thanks much.
