devitellinization and RNAi

We seem to have problems with RNAi experiments in that injected embryos, 
especially later ones, seem to retain their vitteline membrane readily.  Has 
anyone else had these problems or have special tips for devitellinization?  
Our methods seem to work for standard in situs, it is not clear  what about 
the injection technique causes the problem.  Thanks for any help,
