1 PhD position.
Three positions are available to study the role of transcriptional
regulators in the development of the nematode epidermis. The projects
involve the identification and functional analysis of genes regulating
epidermal (hypodermal) differentiation and development in C.elegans. We are
also studying the conservation of hypodermal development between C.elegans
and parasitic nematodes.
The positions are for three years.
Candidates for the postdoctoral and technical posts should have a solid
background in molecular biology and experience in genetics would be an
advantage.
Candidates for the studentship should have an 1st or upper second class
honours degree in an appropriate subject.
