home made CO2 fly pad materials

Greetings All,

Can anyone recommend a supplier for the hard white porous material 
that covers CO2 pads? I'm trying to make a bunch of home-made fly 
pads but have exhaused the old supply in the lab drawer. The correct 
name for the stuff and/or any specifications would also help.
