Applications are invited for a motivated and experienced Senior Technician
to join a research team funded by the Wellcome Trust studying the
development and evolution of the nervous system in insects. The successful
candidate will be responsible for generating transgenic flies and carrying
out specific breeding programmes with Drosophila strains, and will
participate in molecular screening for homologous genes in various insects.

Qualifications: HNC (Biology/Biological Sciences/Biochemistry); preferably
7-8 years' experience including molecular biology and/or genetics.
Applicants with other qualifications will be considered as training can be
given.
