ILLINOIS STATE UNIVERSITY, NORMAL/BLOOMINGTON seeks tenure-track
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR of MOLECULAR BIOLOGY to contribute to the new
undergraduate Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) program,
www.bmb.ilstu.edu, offered by the Departments of Biological Sciences
and Chemistry. Interest in the following areas is desirable:
virology, developmental biology, bioinformatics, or cell biology.
Preferred starting date: August 16, 2001. The successful applicant
will be expected to develop an independent, high quality, and
extramurally funded research program, and contribute to training of
BS, MS and PhD students. Teaching responsibilities will include
undergraduate and graduate courses in molecular biology. PhD and
postdoctoral experience required. To assure full consideration,
