Postdoctoral Position at Novartis
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina

Novartis Agribusiness Biotechnology Research, Inc. seeks a postdoctoral fellow
to join our growing Drosophila research group.  The successful candidate will
carry out independent research preferably in the fields of signal transduction,
physiology, metabolism, or endocrine functions of Drosophila, although other
projects will be considered.  Novartis strongly encourages scientific
publication.  Candidates should have a Ph.D. in molecular biology, genetics, or
related discipline and be familiar with Drosophila as a model system.  Effective
communication and presentation skills are expected.

The project will function within the dynamic environment of our state-of-the-art
Biotechnology Research Center, which includes groups that provide expertise in
automated library arraying, high-throughput DNA sequencing and cloning, and
bioinformatics. The candidate will join a growing and exciting community of
academic and corporate researchers in the Research Triangle Park area, which is
consistently ranked as one of the best places to live in the United States.
