rex?

Dear Drosophila newsgroup,

Does anyone have a strain of rex, rapid exhaustion?

Unfortunately, FlyBase does not have any information other than the 
information you can see on the rex gene report:

Dr. Homyk, who studied rex, unfortunately no longer maintains copies of the 
strain strain
and does not have any information regarding who might have them.  They did 
send strains rex out to a number of researchers between 1976 and 1990.

So, someone might still have copies of rex strain.  Many thanks.
