mosquito imaginal discs

hi ,
Does anybody know if Drosophila P element  vectors can be used to create 
transgenics in mosquito (Ades). I was also wondering if mosquito larvae has 
imaginal discs as found in drosophila and also how much of developmental 
biology has been done in mosquitoes compared to drosophila.I shall 
appreciate your brief comments and also references where i can look for such 
infos.
