Postdoc positions in Drosophila "leukemia"

Postdoctoral positions are available in the lab of C. Dearolf at Harvard
Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital to study the regulation of
blood cell overproliferation and differentiation in Drosophila.  One project
will investigate the mechanisms by which activation of the Jak kinase
signaling pathway causes either overproliferation or differentiation of the
blood cells (see BioEssays 23: 1138-1147, 2001).  A second project will
examine the importance of genes that are transcriptionally induced by
specific oncogenes in blood cells, and were identified by gene chip
analysis.  A working knowledge of molecular biology techniques is required,
previous experience with Drosophila would be advantageous.   Please send a
