the genome of Drosophila M.

Having a limited knowledge in biology and being
recently introdued to molecular bio. I am reading the
paper publised in Science (24 march 2000, vol 287)
regarding the genome sequence of Drosophila M. 

However, I am finding it to be a challenge to
comprehend it completely. Yet, I am determined to make
sense out of it. 

Is it possible to get a summary of the paper or
something written in less technical terms but
containing the same material. 

Help would be greatly appreciated.
