Experience of using dsRED in drosophila needed

hi, dear all,
We are trying to make transgenic flies which can express dsRED. The
questions is there are different versions of dsRED from Clontech,
which are optimized for mammals. Any one has successful experence of
dsRED in fly? Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
