Hello, 

I am doing a research project for my final year at secondary school, and i need to completely classify the organism Drosophila melanogaster. I have been able to classify it but I cannot find any justifications for why it is part of the Family: Drosophilidae or the Genus: Drosophila, and I only have a few for why it is part of the species melanogater. I was wondering if you could please help me. Any suggestions would be good.
