FACULTY POSITION IN NEUROPHYSIOLOGY
The Department of Biology and Biochemistry at the University of
Houston (UH) invites applications for a tenure-track ASSISTANT,
ASSOCIATE, or FULL PROFESSOR position in cellular or systems
neurophysiology that will complement existing strengths within the
Department, including synaptic plasticity, developmental
neurobiology, circadian rhythms, membrane biophysics, and sensory
systems. The position requires a doctoral degree and postdoctoral
experience. The successful candidate is expected to maintain a
nationally competitive externally funded research program and
participate in graduate and undergraduate teaching. The Department
has spacious laboratories and offers competitive startup packages.
The evaluation process will begin November 1, 2004.
