[Drosophila] postdoctoral position

A post-doctoral position is currently available in the laboratory of Dr. Daniela Drummond-Barbosa, Department of Cell and Developmental Biology, Vanderbilt University Medical Center.  This laboratory uses the Drosophila ovary as a system to investigate how adult stem-cell based tissues are regulated in response to external signals such as nutritional changes. The successful candidate will develop a project aiming at the identification and functional analysis of signaling pathways controlling this response. The training of the candidate will be tailored to develop his/her scientific independence and to enable him/her to have a successful career. The candidate must have obtained his/her Ph.D. within one year before start of position. Interested candidates should send a cover letter, resume and three letters of recommendation to:
