[Drosophila] Protein extract from 3rd instar larvae and/or adult fly heads

Hi Drosophilists

I need some help with a protocol for protein extracts for both 3rd 
instar larvae and adult flies specifically the heads.  Does anyone have 
a protocol that they would care to share please, including numbers of 
flies/larvae needed.  Thanks for your help.  BTW I have seen some 
questions about this sort of protocol but no answers am I not looking in 
the right place on the list?
