Dear Colleagues,
The Institute of Genetics and Molecular and Cell
Biology (IGBMC) in Strasbourg (France) invites
applications for Junior Group Leader positions.
We are seeking outstanding candidates in the
areas of Cell Biology, Developmental and
Behavioural Neurobiology, and Regulation of Gene
Expression in vertebrate or invertebrate model
systems.
Successful candidates should have a strong
expertise in their field, are expected to develop
a cutting edge research program and establish
collaborations within IGBMC. Priority will be
given to candidates developing projects involving
innovative imaging techniques, integrative
approaches, and/or those at the interface of the
different subject areas. In addition to a
start-up money and lab space, IGBMC will provide
a technician position and two-year fellowships
for a PhD student and a post-doctoral fellow.
Junior Group Leaders will be given access to all
IGBMC core facilities and technical platforms
(i.e. imaging, transgenic, transcriptome, for
details see, www-igbmc.u-strasbg.fr), which are
operated by a highly competent staff keen to
develop new approaches.
