Hi Willie-
You can try contacting the PI or the corresponding authors on the papers
cited in Flybase on the pages you found the fly ID's.  I've found fly
researchers very willing to help students when I or one of my classmates
have contacted someone about a fly in their stocks.  We have several in our
lab now that were acquired that way, one that came all the way from Bombay.
I only had to pay shipping, but it's been very useful.  You might just want
to give them a brief (few sentence) outline of your plans for their fly;  if
your plans overlap something they are already doing in their lab, it would
be a good idea to know about it before spending a lot of time on a project.
