Postdoctoral position, The University of Chicago

A postdoctoral position is available in the area of Drosophila genetics/developmental biology at the University of Chicago for highly motivated individuals with a proven research track record. Successful candidates should have a Ph.D. in Drosophila genetics, developmental biology or related areas. Projects in the lab range from developing new screens in flies for genes that are synthetic lethal to key tumor suppressor genes to investigating the mechanisms of cell proliferation and differentiation during Drosophila development. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and productively will be essential.
