WE TRY TO DESIGN IDEAL ANIMAL VENTILATOR ( RESPIRATOR)
Current animal ventilator ( Columbus Instruments model:
CIV-101) incorporates many desirable features of physiologist,
but I am still looking for suggestions how to make this
ventilator even more desirable. Our Ventilator utilizes graphite
piston in glass cylinder principle which does not require
lubrication. Six exchangeable cylinders cover tidal volume
range 0.05 ml to 100 ml. It is operated by stepping motor
controlled by the microprocessor. External computer can take over
control of ventilator. Pressure sensor monitors and controls
maximum inspiratory pressure and PEEP (Peek End Expiratory
Pressure) protecting lungs. If you can suggest anything else what
you would like to see in the "ideal" animal ventilator let me
know and we will try to incorporate it in the next model. If you
like to receive information on CIV-101 model I will be happy to
send to you by mail (Ineed your street address)
