GFP extraction

Hello!

       I have been attempting to use a crude protein extract from Tobacco
leaf tissue for spectra analysis of my GFPs. Unfortunately, it appears as
though I am not extracting enough protein to detect on our Spectro
Fluorimeter. The signal is brilliant under the microscope so there is no
question that the protein is there. 
I appreciate any suggestions.
