We tried the same IRES-EGFP vector in HeLa cells and saw real good EGFP
expression, approximately 50% cells were fluorescent. We used BRL
TransfectAMINE plus kit for our transient transfection experiment. EGFP
expression was detectable from 24 -76 hours after addition of DNA with the
same % of positive cells.
