I am trying to measure GFP on cells grown in a 24-well plate using a
cytofluor fluorimeter and I'm not sure how close the wavelengths have to
be in order to get accurate readings. Does anyone know if I can excite
at 450 and emit at 530? I tried this and there doesn't seem to be any
difference between my GFP cells and my controls. Please send any help
to karen_morse at med.unc.edu. Thanks a lot.

Karen
