Can EGFP appear yellow ?

Hi GFPers

I've noticed that when I have CHO cells highly expressing EGFP - that is
greater than 10^3 on the FACS - they appear yellow when viewed on the
fluorescent microscope.

Has anyone else come across this phenomenon ?  Does anyone have an
explanation ?
