Junk mail

Is it just me or do those "commercial mails" get on your nerves too ?

I always thought this would be a mailgroup for the exchange of scientific
experiences and not some place for stupid advertisments (for products
which are i.m.h.o. absolute BS).

Does anyone out there know a way how to stop those people from sending
this trash ? 

Because personally I think we should do something against it.
