Eliminating the Strong Autofluorescence of Bone

Hi All,
I am attempting to detect GFP signals (from cells) in the context of bone
tissue, which are paraffin embedded, but detect strong background from the
bone itself.
Does anyone know
1) The best way to fix bone (if at all) to eliminate/reduce
autofluorescence?
2) The best way to section bone samples to maintain GFP signals
3) Any protocols would be appreciated
Best wishes
