We have used and tested several pedigree drawing programs, and in our
experience Cyrillic is the best. For MAC affectionados this is unfortunate,
since it is windows-based. However, we have found it far more flexible than
ped-draw, kindred, ftree, or (horrors!) MEGADATS. Cyrillic both inputs and
exports to LINKAGE files, and can manage, if the datasets are not large,
marker data as well. I particularly like how easy it is to update, modify,
and edit the pedigrees, including moving people all over the place.
