There's a recent article in Nature Genetics that might help:

Figuera LE, Pandolfo M, Dunne PW, Cantú JM and Patel PI (1995) Mapping of
the congenital generalized hypertrichosis locus to chromosome Xq24-27.1.
Nat. Genet. 10:202-207.

This article also includes a table listing other disorders that include
hypertrichosis (excessive body hair).
