FASTLINK FTP site outage

As of last evening, the machine that serves as the
FTP site for FASTLINK, softlib.cs.rice.edu,
is being physically changed. After the change, the name
of the site, softlib.cs.rice.edu, will remain the same.

It should take 1-2 days for the machine to get changed.
It may take up to a week for the new IP address to
propagate to distant sites on the Internet.

If you need help getting FASTLINK files in the
next few days, feel free to send me mail at
schaffer at nchgr.nih.gov.
