European FTP mirror for Linkage and mapping software

Since December 1995, the EBI (European Bioinformatics Institute,
an EMBL Outstation in Hinxton, UK) mirrors the FTP directories for
various linkage and mapping packages.
The address is : ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/software/linkage_and_mapping/

The packages currently mirrored (with the consent of their authors) are :
ALP, FASTLINK, GenoCheck, GAS, LDB, MAPMAKER, MULTIMAP, PAP, RHMAP, 
SAM, SIGMA, and linkage or mapping software from 
linkage.cpmc.columbia.edu, ftp.gene.ucl.ac.uk and watson.hgen.pitt.edu. 

The README.ebi file gives the complete information for the differents
directories and softwares mirrored.
