Nucleotide substitution between two inbred strains.

Hello,

If cDNA is isolated from some inbred strains of mice, any nucleotide
substitutions are usually observed?
Furthermore, how about Balb/c and A (or LAF1 which is F1 hybrid of A x
Leadon) mice? As Balb/c and A mice are generated from the same albino
random-bred mice, nucleotide substitutions can be still observed?

I welcome any comments and suggestions.
