Postdoctoral position in cancer research.

There will be a postdoctoral position in cancer research available from mid
1998.

Applicants must have substantial publications in international quality
journals.

A background in genetic mechanisms in cancer or epigenetics or chromatin
structureare is desirable

Our current research includes.

1) methylation in  cancer
2) cloning of genes at leukaemia breakpoints
3) mechanisms of the loss of the ABO blood group in haematological malignancy.

Choice of a project area will be determined in consultation with the
candidate and new project areas are possible.

There is also a  5 year Senior Fellowship in Oncology available for
experienced scientists of outstanding merit.
