available postdoc position DROSOPHILA GENOME!

Experienced postdoc required by a Drosophila genome project at
McGill University in Montreal.  Duties include the day-to-day
management of a small group (3-4) of technicians and students
who are using PCR, Southern and Northern hybridizations, and
genetic crossing to map genes in a 2-Mb chromosomal region.
Experience in molecular biology and/or Drosophila genetics as
documented by publications is required; demonstrated supervisory
ability would be a plus.  The successful applicant will be able
to interact with three Drosophila laboratories (Profs. Lasko,
Suter, and Kellum), and the yeast functional genomics project
(Prof. Bussey), all of which are located on the same floor of
the Stewart Biology Building.  Salary will be commensurate with
experience.  This position is fully funded by an MRC Operating
Grant to Profs. Lasko and Suter until March 2001.
