Hello all,

I am interested in the signal transduction pathways activated by lectin 
binding to a cell. Using plant lectins I get reliable, sugar-specific 
ion channel modulation in mammalian cells. I would like to extend these 
results by testing mammalian lectins. Does anyone know of a source, or 
would anyone be willing to contribute 1 mg MBP?
Alternatively, I plan to purify MBP by the method of Kayogashima et al. 
(Arch.Biochem.Biophys., 1990). Any tips/thoughs will be appreciated.
