A sensitivity problem

Dear fellow researcher,
althought the detection sensitivity of our silver stained gels and ECl 
blots appeared to be the same (around 10 ng as lowest limit), a 
glycoprotein which appears as a spot on immunoblot after  2D SDS-PAGE, 
does not appear visible in the corresponding 2D gel. Since we already 
load the most we could load in the gel, is there any particular stain we 
should try?
